We created The Balanced Middle Path website and its companion organization with a core mission: to empower Muslims to navigate the complexities of modern life while staying true to their faith.

Our Vision

The Balanced Middle Path (TBMP) wants to provide Muslims with the tools and resources to enable them to prosper in the Deen and wholesome worldly endeavors. These tools and resources are technical assistance in assisting Muslims live balanced lives filled with the desire and know-how to help communities excel.

Our Mission

Our mission at the Balanced Middle Path is to help Muslims develop a spiritual, mental, and functional framework of adopting a harmonizing and balanced approach to family life in Islam. Advancing this mission will be informed by essays, videos, and collaborating with individuals, and organizations. We will use our website to promote this mission.

Our Founder

Professor Zaid Adib Ansari

Professor Ansari brings a wealth of experience to the table. He’s spent over 30 years in higher education, holding leadership positions in institutional research and assessment at prestigious institutions around the world. His expertise extends beyond data analysis, though. He’s also a published author and has a strong background in educational development and management.

Professor Ansari’s passion for education is evident in his diverse career path. From his early days teaching courses in criminal justice and statistics to his current role as founder of Balanced Middle Path Solutions, he’s consistently demonstrated a commitment to using data to drive positive outcomes.

An interesting fact is Professor. Ansari’s ongoing pursuit of knowledge. He’s currently enrolled in a comprehensive data analytics program, ensuring he stays at the forefront of the field.

Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from University of Cincinnati

EXPERIENCE

Executive Director of Institutional Research, American University in Cairo: Led accreditation efforts, managed a multi-million dollar budget, and provided data analysis for strategic planning (2009 – 2013)

Founder and Senior Consultant, Balanced Middle Path Solutions (BMPS): Provides data-driven consulting services for businesses (2013 – Present)

EXPERTISE

Real Estate Development: Experience in planning real estate development projects and rezoning applications.

Educational Development and Management: Extensive experience in curriculum development, program management, and policy development.

Data Analysis: Skilled in using and teaching data management and data analysis techniques (SPSS, R, etc.)
